General Summary: The Center Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily functions of the Head Start educational initiative at designated locations. This role is performed in alignment with Head Start performance benchmarks, CSPP standards, state licensing laws, OHS guidelines, and internal policies.
The Center Director is expected to work a full-time schedule, exceeding 40 hours per week, which may involve early mornings, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision Duties (80%): Lead and manage staff to ensure high-quality preschool services.
- Staff and Family Development Partnerships (10%): Foster relationships that support family engagement and staff growth.
- Administrative and Record Keeping (10%): Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in early education settings.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Must be fully vaccinated.
