Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Labor and Delivery at a reputable healthcare institution in Buckhannon, West Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in Labor and Delivery, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, including assessments, interventions, and education.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other medical interventions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of West Virginia.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
