Job Summary:

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced OSP Engineer I to join our team in Long Island, NY. As an OSP Engineer I, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Outside Plant (OSP) infrastructure for our client's telecommunications network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer OSP infrastructure, including copper and fiber optic cables, to meet the client's requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys to identify and document existing infrastructure, including poles, ducts, and other OSP assets.
  • Create detailed engineering prints using ICGS software for handoff to the construction team.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely and accurate installation of OSP infrastructure.
  • Represent the client as needed when interacting with customers or other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in OSP engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of OSP design principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ICGS software and other OSP design tools.
  • Knowledge of FiOS/Hi-CAP design principles and practices.
