Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert advice and guidance to department personnel to foster a safe working environment compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
2. Conduct thorough evaluations of workplace conditions to identify and assess hazards.
3. Perform on-site inspections to audit safety practices and physical conditions, documenting findings and recommendations.
4. Develop and implement hazard control measures based on comprehensive analyses.
5. Assess the effectiveness of safety policies and procedures, recommending improvements to enhance workplace safety.
6. Prepare and deliver safety training sessions and orientations for new employees.
7. Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute to the development of safety programs.
8. Analyze incident reports and statistical data to propose corrective actions for risk mitigation.
9. Ensure compliance with corporate safety requirements in procurement and contracting processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field is preferred, along with certification as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in safety and operational roles, ideally within the oil and gas or petrochemical sectors.
- Proficient knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in training and presentations.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards and practices.
