Neurosciences Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) - D5N. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional care to patients and their families while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.
About the Role- You will implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as required by the unit's needs.
- You will assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and support.
- In collaboration with your colleagues, you will create a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
- You will also provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, utilizing your expertise and training to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this position, you must have a current RN license in the state of New York and at least one year of experience in a hospital setting. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
