Professional Geoscientist

Our client, a leading environmental services firm, is seeking an experienced Geologist to contribute to their team. The Geologist will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, developing remediation plans, and providing expert guidance on geological and environmental matters. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory standards and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Conduct Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments to identify potential contamination and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform hydrogeologic evaluations and contamination assessments for soil and groundwater.
• Design and implement remediation plans, ensuring compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA, and other environmental regulations.
• Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and geological mapping.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, environmental impact statements, and compliance documentation.
• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geological modeling tools for data analysis and project management.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are on schedule.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and project scoping.
• Provide expert advice on geological and environmental issues, supporting client decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional Geologist (PG) license in California and/or Washington required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in GIS software and other geological modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
