Associate General Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our team at Global Partners. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice and support to our business teams on a wide range of matters, including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with external counsel and other stakeholders to resolve complex legal issues.
- Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, external counsel, and regulatory agencies.
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in one state, preferably Massachusetts.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in corporate, real estate, or transactional law, preferably in-house or at a law firm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
