Role of the Registered NurseRegistered Nurses are essential in the collaboration and execution of a comprehensive care continuum for our patients. This role is ideal for individuals who wish to apply their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to positively impact patient health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize knowledge and skills to deliver age-appropriate care, including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document outcomes related to nursing diagnoses and patient care issues.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a seamless patient care experience.
- Coordinate patient care plans through effective communication during shift changes.
- Employ critical thinking and sound judgment in all aspects of patient care.
- Initiate emergency care as needed and maintain required certifications.
Our RNs embody the guiding principles of ProMedica and demonstrate a commitment to their colleagues and the philosophy of care within the department. Staying current in their specialty through continuing education and maintaining certifications is essential.
Additional RequirementsApplicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and possess a valid nursing license in the state of employment. Candidates should be prepared to handle exposure to various environmental factors and meet all health requirements set by the organization.
Physical capabilities include the ability to move throughout the hospital and frequently lift or carry patients and equipment.
