About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tire & Battery Technician to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our Automotive Service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Tire & Battery Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding sales and service experiences, educate and mentor new team members, and communicate effectively to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Be an Expert: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of safety protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, and product specifications to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Be a Technologist: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve service experiences, and enhance associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology and systems to make informed business decisions.
  • Be an Owner: Communicate equipment and supply needs to the TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory and safety standards.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, develop and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style, and understand roadblocks to assist in training team members.
  • Comply with Company Policies: Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete Work Assignments: Use policies, data, and resources to complete tasks, communicate progress, and determine ways to address improvement opportunities.
