Senior Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic team at GPAC. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance defense litigation and be adept at handling complex legal issues. This role involves managing cases from inception to resolution, including conducting depositions, drafting motions, and representing clients in court.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and skilled lawyer to join our team. As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of insurance defense matters, including commercial litigation, property damage, and professional liability claims.

1. Case Management: Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including commercial litigation, property damage, and professional liability claims.
2. Research and Drafting: Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
3. Court Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
4. Case Strategy: Develop and implement case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
5. Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and work with experts to prepare cases for trial.
6. Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

• 3-5 years of solid experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in TX.
• Strong understanding of insurance law and defense strategies.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
