Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Physician to provide medical services as a Fee Basis Provider (FBP). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting medical histories, physical examinations, and reviewing medical tests and documents related to consultations and medical histories.
Responsibilities- Conduct medical histories and physical examinations
- Review medical tests and documents related to consultations and medical histories
- Assess applicant medical documentation and render medical opinions on applicant medical fitness for programs
- Provide medical services as a Fee Basis Provider (FBP)
- Must be a Physician (MD/DO) with a current, unrestricted license from any of the 50 U.S. States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Must be privileged by the USMEPCOM Command Surgeon
- Must have completed a residency or provided direct patient care within the last three years
- Must possess a minimum of one year of post-graduate training accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Certification from the American Heart Association
- Must have a medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA)
- Must possess computer skills necessary to access and update electronic applicant medical documentation, access and respond to email communications, and use internet sites as required to obtain information on medical issues or gain information from organizations involved in accessing personnel into the Armed Forces
