We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Operating Room team, located within a leading Children's Hospital.
Facility Highlights:
Our Pediatric Operating Room is equipped with six specialized Operating Rooms and two Procedure Rooms, designed to provide exceptional care in a nurturing environment.
Care Delivery:
Our team operates around the clock, managing a daily caseload of 12 to 24 pediatric cases across various specialties, including:
- Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Genitourinary (GU)
- Orthopedics
- General Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Cardiac Surgery
- Trauma Surgery
Commitment to Excellence:
We emphasize a culture of excellence, supported by a team of highly trained professionals dedicated to the comfort and well-being of our young patients.
Qualifications:
While experience in a Level 1 Pediatric Operating Room is preferred, we encourage applications from Operating Room Nurses with at least one year of OR experience who are passionate about pediatric care.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
All candidates must meet the following:
- Clin I: Experience as an LPN, nursing assistant, or care partner in an acute care setting.
- Clin II & III: Relevant academic healthcare experience and familiarity with similar patient populations.
Educational Background:
All applicants must possess a Diploma or Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program. Registered Nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing must enroll in an RN to BSN program within two years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher and certification in a specialty area are highly regarded.
