Chemist Job Description

Atrium Staffing is seeking a skilled Chemist to join our team. As a Chemist, you will be responsible for performing chemical analysis on raw materials, bulk formulations, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement methodologies for product development and testing.
  • Assist with sampling and testing of raw materials and products.
  • Perform physical and chemical testing of products.
  • Stay up-to-date with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to your job assignments.
  • Dispose of laboratory waste properly.
  • Perform instrument calibration and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Experience with High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Infra-Red (IR), Gas Chromatograph (GC), and other laboratory equipment.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Industry experience is highly preferred.
