We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at St. David's Medical Center.
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and directing and monitoring non-licensed personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Supervise and direct non-licensed personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- 1 year of experience in an acute care/hospital setting.
- BSN preferred.
- Current State of Texas RN license and BLS required.
- ACLS certification required within 12 months.
