Tufts Medicine offers a unique opportunity for radiologists to enhance their skills in emergency and trauma imaging. This one-year fellowship program is designed for those seeking advanced training in acute care radiology, with a focus on neuroradiology.
The Emergency and Trauma Radiology (ETR) Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center provides fellows with the chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center in the heart of Boston. With recent renovations in all reading rooms, ETR fellows enjoy a modern working environment. The primary focus of clinical work involves interpreting imaging of acutely ill and traumatized patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Fellows serve as key members of the care team, facilitating timely communication with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery teams. Supervised by dedicated Neuroradiology, Body, and MSK Attending Radiologists, fellows can expect a well-rounded training experience.
Clinical Rotations
- 6-month Emergency Radiology: Acute neuro, body, and MSK pathology, and trauma
- 6-month Neuroradiology: Acute inpatient and outpatient CNS pathology
- Moonlighting opportunities for eligible trainees with a Massachusetts Full Physician License
Estimate Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on location and experience
