About the Role

The City of Nürtingen is seeking a highly skilled Pedagogical Specialist to join their team at the Department of Educational Quality Management. As a key member of the Office for Education, Social Affairs and Family, this role will play a vital part in shaping the educational landscape of the city.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide expert pedagogical advice and guidance to daycare center teams on implementing educational plans and addressing special issues.
• Develop and refine carrier and facility concepts to ensure and improve the quality of daycare centers.
• Organize and conduct training courses for pedagogical professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Foster collaboration and networking with educational institutions, local communities, offices, and authorities to drive positive change.

Requirements

• A degree in social pedagogy, social work, or early childhood education, or a comparable university degree.
• Proven experience in daycare centers and counseling, with a strong background in adult education.
• Excellent social and professional skills, with the ability to work conceptually and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
