Faculty Position in Physician Assistant Program

Faulkner University's College of Health Sciences is seeking a qualified individual to join its team of healthcare educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in the Physician Assistant Master's Degree program, designing and teaching graduate courses, assessing student performance, advising students, overseeing student research, serving on committees and admission processes, and providing support for the responsibilities of the program and college.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a healthcare-related field, with a doctorate degree preferred. Experience as a Physician Assistant, Physician, or other allied healthcare provider is required, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred. Active membership in the church of Christ is also preferred.
Responsibilities will include:
- Teaching graduate courses in the Physician Assistant Master's Degree program
- Assessing student performance and providing feedback
- Advising students and overseeing student research
- Serving on committees and admission processes
- Providing support for the responsibilities of the program and college
