UCHealth is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Inpatient Pharmacy team at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
We are offering a substantial sign-on bonus for this role. Clinical pharmacists are responsible for processing medication orders, overseeing patient medication regimens, providing pharmaceutical information, and managing support staff.
In the absence of the pharmacy manager, the clinical pharmacist may need to undertake essential duties and responsibilities typically associated with the pharmacy manager's role.

Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is mandatory, with a PharmD being preferred.
Licensure and Certification:
Must be licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensure in Ohio; ACLS certification is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of six months of hospital pharmacy internship or experience as a pharmacist is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency program or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision; collaborate effectively with healthcare and pharmacy personnel; manage frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload; prioritize tasks, make critical decisions, and respond promptly to urgent requests; exercise sound professional judgment; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; and meet the pharmaceutical care needs of the patient populations served by UCHealth.
