Laundry Worker Job DescriptionAt Healthcare Services Group, we are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading machines, folding clean linen, operating computer-operated washers and dryers, counting and recording the linen processed each day, and making proper deliveries to units. Additionally, the Laundry Worker will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the work area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and sort soiled linen
• Load and unload machines
• Fold clean linen
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers
• Count and record the linen processed each day
• Make proper deliveries to units
• Clean and sanitize the work area
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a laundry or cleaning role is an asset.
