About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Independence. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Needs Assessment and Lesson Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop tailored lesson plans to meet those requirements.
  • Instruction and Support: Provide instruction and support to students in various educational settings, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance to succeed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring and Adaptation: Continuously monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Certifications and Qualifications: Hold a valid teaching license with a specialization in special education.
