Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging results.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients during procedures, adjusting equipment settings as needed to achieve optimal image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and records in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in MRI technology and best practices.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Certifications in MRI technology, such as ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, as well as stand for long periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
