Transportation Specialist

Join the Aledo Independent School District team as a Bus Driver and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and orderly transportation of students and other authorized persons on assigned routes.

• Operate school buses and related equipment to provide safe and efficient transportation services.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival and departure of students.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and respectful environment on the bus.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.

• Valid Texas commercial driver's license (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Safe driving history and ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background qualifications process.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, use maps and GPS to navigate routes, and manage student behavior.

• Competitive hourly rate of $22.00.
• 174 calendar days of work per year, with 6 hours of work per day.
