Cafe Shift Leader Responsibilities:
Embody excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
Master training material and effectively communicate the health benefits of ingredients and food to customers in an engaging manner
Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls, and take phone orders
Prepare and make food according to proper procedures
Lead the team, ensuring food is made accurately and delivered to customers in a timely manner
Oversee shifts and delegate tasks
Exemplify knowledge of the job and provide excellent customer service
Receive deliveries, communicate with managers about inventory status
Restock the register nightly
Manage the break schedule, ensuring employees arrive on time and take appropriate breaks
Attend Management Meetings
Assist with training team members

Requirements:
Food certification
Leadership abilities
Ability to handle a basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards
Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling, and food allergy safety guidelines
Ability to stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, and move quickly
Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance
Arrive on time and take appropriate breaks
Attend team member meetings

Compensation:
$11 - $13/hr


Vitality Bowls specializes in creating delicious açaí bowls, a thick blend of the açaí berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients.

Additional antioxidant-rich menu items include smoothies, juices, salads, and more.

No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, or artificial preservatives are used, giving the purest taste possible to each item.
