Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinician II to join our team at Casa Esperanza. As a Clinician II, you will provide clinical services to clients in our outpatient mental health clinic, working with individuals who have co-occurring disorders. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and utilizing clients' strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences in completing assessments and developing individualized service plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Relapse Prevention.
- Conduct crisis intervention counseling and referrals to ongoing mental health services as needed.
- Collaborate with the program team to coordinate and ensure client treatment plans are effective and appropriate.
- Engage external and internal service providers to better meet clients' needs.
- Participate in weekly clinical meetings to provide updates and assist in decision-making related to treatment planning and implementation.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience working with a psychiatric/substance abusing/co-occurring population.
- Spanish bilingual skills required.
- Familiarity with working in a strength-based, trauma-informed environment.
- Knowledge of community resources and issues affecting people with HIV/AIDS in recovery from substance abuse/alcoholism.
- Competitive salary range: $68,000 - $72,000 per year.
