Role Responsibilities:
The Surgical Technician plays a crucial role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, following the established care plan. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures by supplying necessary instruments and materials.
- Maintaining sterile conditions throughout surgical operations.
- Collaborating closely with all surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications Required:
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent military training.
- Active certification from recognized bodies such as NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
- Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
