We're seeking an experienced professional to assist our Account Manager with supervisory, training, and operations functions at assigned posts. This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of executing the security contract, assigning work tasks to Security Professionals, and directing their work throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Account Manager with coordinating all aspects of executing the security contract
  • Assign work tasks to Security Professionals and direct their work throughout the day
  • Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals
  • Evaluate the work performance of Security Professionals and make recommendations
  • Ensure Post Order manual and all other post and training information is properly maintained and updated
  • Assist the Account Manager in conducting interviews and evaluating new employees
  • Conduct on-the-job training of new employees assigned to post
  • Oversee all reports, logs, and pass downs generated by and for the Security Department
  • Manage and supervise all sub-units within the Security Department
  • Respond to minor incidents and ensure appropriate action is taken
  • Identify personnel problems occurring at posts and forward issues to the Account Manager or Field Supervisor
  • Make recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary action
  • Respond to client or site emergencies and maintain positive client/security relationships

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) - five (5) years of professional-level experience required
  • Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, and/or military required
  • Valid state Guard License required
  • Driving Positions: valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience required
  • Energetic and focused personality with ability to take initiative and prioritize multiple competing assignments
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Ability to train and coach others and enforce post orders, security standards, and company policies equitably and consistently
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
  • Incumbent must be available to work outside normal shift schedule on an as-needed basis
