We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at School-Based Behavior Consultation. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols to children with autism, serious emotional disabilities, and other developmental disabilities.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing treatment plans in one-on-one and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment teaching arrangements. You will also collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior, assist with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments, and document interventions, progress data, and session notes.
Responsibilities:- Implement treatment plans in one-on-one and group settings
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior
- Assist with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments
- Document interventions, progress data, and session notes
- Assist with staff training of student's individualized treatment and behavior change protocols
- Immediately report to BCBA any student incidents/variances or complaints
- Attend to work and arrive in a timely manner
- Communicate with staff regarding student progress as instructed by the BCBA
- Participate in required training programs as assigned
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- One year experience as an RBT required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field preferred
- Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification, including annual renewal and registration
- CPR and CPI certification
- Drug Screen
- Criminal background check required for hire
