Job Overview

About the Job

  • Maintain and repair equipment in compliance with company standards, local and state requirements, as well as OSHA standards.
  • Diagnose, test, and repair all manufacturing equipment.
  • Repair ancillary equipment as needed.
  • Install equipment and or replacement parts.
  • Operate and or fill in on production line(s) as needed.
  • Supervise Production Shift(s) as needed.
  • Complete all necessary reports & communications as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Comfortable with using common hand and power tools in a safe manner.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical materials and procedures.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors and operations, verbally and in writing.
  • Willing and able to take and follow instruction and direction while learning from others.
  • Should be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Willingness to cross train and assist other areas as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work long hours during peak periods.
  • Forklift Certification
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficient – Outlook, Excel, Word
