The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant is a proficient technical provider of rehabilitation therapy services and associated responsibilities, operating under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Therapist.


Qualifications:
Must possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant Program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Must hold a valid license in the state where the assistant will be practicing.
Active membership in state and national Rehabilitation Therapy Associations is preferred.

RTA Position Highlights:


Delivers rehabilitation therapy services as directed by the rehabilitation therapist and prescribed by the physician, adhering to policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

Assists the rehabilitation therapist in evaluating progress towards established goals.
Monitors, documents, and reports to the therapist the conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned responsibilities.
Keeps daily records of treatments and documents progress notes regarding patients as instructed by the therapist.
Supports the therapist in consulting with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
