Axiom is a leading provider of automotive products and services, offering a comprehensive range of solutions to dealers and customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Claims Analyst II to join our team.

Job Summary

The Mechanical Claims Analyst II will be responsible for evaluating and processing auto repair claims, serving as the main point of contact for dealers and customers, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess automotive technical knowledge, problem-solving and organizational skills, and a dedication to delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process automobile, RV, and powersports repair claims in accordance with Axiom policies and procedures
  • Use automotive expertise to confirm customer concerns, causes, and corrections
  • Ensure all inbound calls are answered and resolved in accordance with expected performance metrics
  • Respond to and resolve questions and issues from customers, service advisors, and dealers in a timely and professional manner
  • Guide customers and repair facilities through the claim process and communicate necessary information
  • Document all interactions with customers, service advisors, dealers, inspection reports, verifications, research, and other claims-related information
  • Adjudicate claims efficiently by reviewing and verifying estimates, evaluating contract coverage, and requesting additional information as needed
  • Escalate issues to a supervisor as necessary
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Axiom's products, systems, and applications
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft and web-based applications
  • Familiarity with All data, Mitchell Pro-demand, Factory labor time, and other labor guides
  • Ability to think creatively and analyze and solve problems effectively
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and punctuality
  • Strong, effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of service contracts
  • ASE Certification
