Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary
Martin Marietta is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/diesel engine repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment
- Weld, cut, and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/diesel engine repairs preferred
- Certification from a trade school is preferred
Work Environment
This is a full-time position that regularly requires 40+ hours per week in a surface and/or underground mine setting. This role frequently operates heavy equipment.
