The Overnight Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of apartment homes, as well as the overall maintenance of the property. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of service for our residents and providing assistance to visitors as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- This role requires working during night hours.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance servicing, and glass replacement.
- Efficiently address service requests related to property and amenity repairs.
- Comply with OSHA standards and adhere to company safety protocols consistently.
- Perform routine maintenance on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
- Carry out weekly inspections and engage in preventative maintenance for amenities such as pools, exterior lighting, and equipment.
- Monitor pool water quality, record results daily, and perform necessary cleaning and chemical adjustments.
- Occasionally assist with housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks, depending on property size.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Utilize personal transportation for property inspections and corporate visits as required.
- Availability for night shifts, weekends, and on-call duties is essential.
- Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
