Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Redwood RMJ Sr. Admin to join our team at Randstad Digital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orchestrating the Redwood RMJ solution and will be responsible for working closely with various teams to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall performance and successful process of the Redwood RMJ solution, ensuring a centralized system that provides a unified platform for managing all scheduled jobs across company applications and platforms.
  • Orchestrate the deployment and maintenance of the Redwood RMJ enterprise scheduling tool, requiring advanced automation solutions to achieve high levels of availability, reliability, and productivity.
  • Design the solution to scale with the growing needs of the company, accommodating an increasing number of batch jobs and complex scheduling requirements.
  • Ability to understand and implement role-based access security and meet least privilege principles.
  • Define service and governance that is easy for all application owners to understand and use.
  • Ensure application owners have the objective to automate the scheduling of tasks and jobs following company standards set in place for the RMJ solution.
  • Work closely with application owners to understand their business requirements and objectives, including the entire batch process from different systems and applications.
  • Audit all applications owners to ensure they are consistently following the Redwood RMJ scheduler standards in place, including dependencies across all platforms/applications configured in the tool.
  • Provide guidance and be available to assist all application owners.
  • Mentor and train RMJ admins.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for all production-reported incidents with the Redwood RMJ scheduler.
  • Schedule training sessions for all application owners as needed to enable them to effectively use the Redwood RMJ solution.
  • Monitor and provide solutions to all reported incidents in ServiceNow.
  • Document in detail root cause/PCAs to all Redwood RMJ incidents reported in ServiceNow.
  • Create and maintain all Redwood RMJ documentation in ServiceNow Knowledge Articles.
  • Follow change management process on all Redwood RMJ application changes, including all future upgrades.
  • Responsible to participate and give guidance to all Redwood RMJ changes submitted to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to workload automation and Redwood RMJ.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with application owners to audit/review/identify feedback/challenges/recommendations of each application, including decommissioning of stale jobs, failing jobs, performance degradation, product deficiencies, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of workload automation concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with a batch scheduling software such as SAP Redwood, Help Systems.
  • High level of trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity in distributed systems integration or cloud services a plus.
  • Above-average written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical issues in a language understood by different levels of business leadership, end users, and technical resources.
  • Play an active role in process improvements and development utilizing ITIL Framework.
