Assembler Position Overview

The Assembler position with Medix is a 3-month contract-to-hire role with a leading manufacturer of large engines and generators. In this position, you will be responsible for assembling large generators and enclosure systems used for backup power at hospitals and data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete a 4-week training program on generator and enclosure assembly processes
  • Work with hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks, including drills, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
  • Assemble power generator casings, including alternators, brackets, flywheels, motor mounts, starters, and harnesses
  • After converting to a permanent employee, you will be eligible for continued training and growth into advanced assembly and electrical positions or leadership roles
