About the Role

Summit Credit Union is seeking a seasoned IT Manager to lead our technology team and drive innovation in our operations. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure, providing top-notch support to internal staff, and collaborating with other departments to align technology solutions with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the IT department, overseeing the development and implementation of technology strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal staff, ensuring that technology-related issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize technology needs, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Assist with IT budgeting and resource allocation, helping to maintain a strategic plan that drives innovation and growth.
  • Manage vendor relationships and IT contracts, ensuring that services meet our high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex issues, working closely with your team and external partners to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Play a key role in maintaining network security and ensuring compliance with industry standards, such as FFIEC and NCUA.
  • Facilitate the credit union's Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans, ensuring that systems are protected and recoverable.
Requirements
  • At least five years of IT experience, ideally with leadership responsibilities. A college degree in Information Systems is preferred, but relevant experience is also highly valued.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and grow your team.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work well across departments and with external partners.
  • A passion for staying ahead of technology trends and finding innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server, IIS, and.NET Framework.
  • Experience with Core Banking Platforms, including Corelation KeyStone being preferred.
