Job Summary

As a key member of the People & Culture (PAC) team at Perpetual, you will be responsible for providing professional and efficient HR services to employees in the Americas region. This role will act as the first point of contact for staff in the Americas, assisting with daily operations, payroll, benefits, and other PAC matters as needed. The successful candidate will work closely with the Americas PAC team to ensure alignment between business operations and PAC practices and objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond to general PAC-related questions regarding policy and processes, payroll, benefits, recruitment, and onboarding/offboarding. Route complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate PAC leadership.
  • Support the administrative workstreams relating to the employee life cycle, including preparing offer packages, conducting new hire orientations, updating relevant HRIS/PAC systems, supporting employee engagement activities, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Assist the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, liaising with external recruitment agencies, and providing timely responses to inquiries to ensure a positive hiring and candidate experience.
  • Facilitate the onboarding/offboarding process, ensuring paperwork completion.
  • Support various employment engagement activities, such as the buddy program.
  • Support the Company's pre-employment and ongoing background screening program.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, claims, and employee inquiries.
  • Process employee data changes and prepare HR reports using Workday, MS Excel, and/or other reporting-based systems, ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Manage shared HR Inbox and calendar, in conjunction with other PAC Associates, in accordance with SLAs.
  • Attend and participate in HR team meetings, assisting in scheduling recurring meetings to foster a collaborative, connected team.
  • Alongside the PAC team, continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and/or systems improvement, recommending improvement activities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the HR intranet site and HRIS utilization.
  • Update policies and procedures at the guidance of senior members of the PAC team.
  • Support the performance management and remuneration cycle as required.
  • Learning & Development: provide administration and support as needed.
  • Maintain HR records, including data retention, compliance/regulatory considerations, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain a database of HR responses to RFPs.
  • Provide administrative support with ad-hoc and annual regulatory processes.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as required.
  • Provide support with the maintenance of compensation and benefits information, liaising with internal and external providers as appropriate.
  • Any other ad-hoc support required for the smooth operations of payroll and benefits.
Key Skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (written/spoken) and professional ability to interact with employees across a variety of audiences.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task, experience managing competing tasks and priorities with strong time-management skills.
  • Prior experience with HRIS (Workday) a plus.
  • Curious, proactive, can-do attitude, solutions-focused mindset.
  • A team-player with a genuine desire to learn and take on increased responsibility.
  • Understanding of the requirement to maintain the utmost level of confidentiality and discretion while maintaining the ability to act ethically and with empathy is imperative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional service delivery.
  • Process-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Solid administration skills.
  • Aptitude for data and ability to pull information into reports.
  • Experienced using Microsoft Office 365, including intermediate Excel and Word skills.
