Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver swim instruction aligned with our established curriculum.
  2. Uphold safety protocols to prevent accidents and provide first aid when necessary.
  3. Assess student progress and complete necessary documentation promptly.
  4. Engage with parents regarding their child's swimming development.
  5. Act as a representative of Goldfish Swim School to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges faced by students.
  7. Inspect pool facilities before and after classes for maintenance and cleanliness.
  8. Ensure proper storage and management of pool equipment.
  9. Document and report any incidents or accidents to management.
  10. Assist with light cleaning tasks as needed.
  11. Participate in mandatory training sessions outside of regular hours.
  12. Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
  • Required: Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a swimming instructor.
  • Swimming experience is advantageous.
Certifications: Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required. Shallow water attendant certification is highly recommended.

Work Environment: This role involves regular exposure to warm temperatures and humidity, with a moderate noise level.

Each Goldfish Swim School operates as an independently owned franchise, with the franchisee determining wages, benefits, and employment conditions.
