Position OverviewCommunity Manager
As the Community Manager at South Oxford Management, you will be instrumental in managing all facets of the community's operations, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for residents, visitors, and staff. Your leadership and management capabilities will be vital to the community's overall success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and oversee team members with a focus on positive mentorship.
  • Provide continuous training and monitor team progress.
  • Lead by example, motivating team members to achieve high standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and assist in the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor on maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare and manage the community budget effectively.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and accurate financial reporting.
  • Enhance community value and seek opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage invoicing.
  • Oversee the applicant screening and leasing process.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold property aesthetics.
  • Ensure safety and promptly address any issues.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years in property management, with at least one year in a Community Manager role.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional demeanor and physical capabilities suited for the role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and property management software.
