Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of $52.50 - $72.50 based on experience.

About the Role

The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral needs.

Analyze assessment data and provide recommendations for intervention strategies.

Provide individual and group counseling services to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to support students' academic and social-emotional growth.

Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement strategies for supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth.

Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

Stay current on best practices, trends, and research in school psychology and mental health.

Provide training and resources to staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, assessment tools, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to promoting equity and inclusion within the school community.
