Responsibilities of Quick Lube Technicians:

  • Monitor and communicate oil levels to team members
  • Ensure proper tire pressure
  • Inspect and replenish fluid levels as needed
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters
  • Perform cleaning and lubrication of fittings as required
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with a focus on the customer's perspective

Responsibilities of Service Technicians:

  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services needed, providing time estimates for repairs
  • Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an automotive dealership setting
  • Strong knowledge of the service drive process
  • Experience levels vary by position
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities

  • Basic computer skills
