Responsibilities of Quick Lube Technicians:
- Monitor and communicate oil levels to team members
- Ensure proper tire pressure
- Inspect and replenish fluid levels as needed
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters
- Perform cleaning and lubrication of fittings as required
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a focus on the customer's perspective
Responsibilities of Service Technicians:
- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services needed, providing time estimates for repairs
- Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership setting
- Strong knowledge of the service drive process
- Experience levels vary by position
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach
