Dishroom Porter

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Transporter at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate automatic dishwashing machines and perform routine cleaning tasks in the kitchen area.
• Sort and deliver soiled dishes, utensils, and trays to the dishroom, and return clean items to their designated storage areas.
• Assist with unloading and storing food and supplies, and deliver food and supplies to patient care and child care areas.
• Practice proper safety techniques and report any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or injuries to the manager.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.

Work Schedule

11am-7:30pm, with weekend requirements.
