Role Summary: We are in search of a skilled and passionate Licensed Speech Therapist to become a vital part of our educational team. This full-time role involves providing essential speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of students across various educational settings. You will collaborate with a supportive team, including bilingual therapists and assistants, to ensure comprehensive care for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in need.
- Design and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language challenges.
- Work in partnership with educators, families, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
- Oversee and guide Clinical Fellows and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants as necessary.
- Maintain precise and timely records of therapy services provided.
Caseload Management:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
- Provide services across multiple educational campuses.
- Collaborate with bilingual therapists to support students in multilingual environments.
- Address the needs of students in early childhood programs with the assistance of fellow therapists.
- Primarily engage with English-speaking students at designated campuses.
- Share responsibilities with other therapists to effectively meet the needs of large student populations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License/Certification in Texas.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
