Job Summary:

The University of Miami is seeking a skilled statistical programmer to join its research team. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing programming support for data cleaning, summarizing, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for real-time data quality control
  • Conduct routine data checks to ensure data integrity and completeness
  • Write SAS macros and programs for data cleaning, reporting, and analysis dataset creation
  • Assist in the design and implementation of procedures to improve efficiency and support research program growth
  • Perform statistical analyses defined in statistical analysis plans, as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a closely related analytical field
  • Experience in SAS programming
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
