S61 Instructor Pilot

CHI Aviation is seeking a qualified Instructor Pilot candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in helicopter instruction and a passion for teaching others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct students in the S-61 type helicopter and missions.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure students meet the required standards.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a cohesive and effective training environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in helicopter instruction.


Requirements:

  • S61 Helicopter Type Rating with no Limitations.
  • At least 2500 hours of total flight experience.
  • Previous Long Line/Vertical Reference experience is preferred.
  • Current Medical Class and CFI/CFII certificate or ATP.
  • Ability to conduct aircraft ground and flight instruction.
  • NVG and Instrument instructional experience.
  • SAR experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in austere locations and a flexible schedule.
