In this role, you will be essential in securely transporting goods between our facilities.

As a premier provider of fastening and engineered components for various industries, including automotive and heavy truck, we operate in over 95 locations globally, offering numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complying with the Company’s Safe Driver Code while maintaining a valid and reputable driver’s license.
- Conducting thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the vehicle to guarantee optimal functionality.
- Assisting with or supervising the loading and unloading of freight.
- Keeping precise logs of cargo weight, arrival and departure times, and distance traveled.
- Completing all necessary documentation accurately to meet regulatory standards.
- Upholding 5S standards to ensure cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
- Adhering to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Performing tasks under general supervision.
- Addressing moderately complex issues and escalating more intricate problems to senior staff.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to interpret work instructions effectively.
- Capability to follow both written and verbal directives.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- Customer service orientation.
