We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Healthcare Consultants - Pharmacy Staffing. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting staff pharmacists in filling prescriptions and handling cash register transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Count, Sort, and Label Medications: Accurately count, sort, and label bottles and packages of medication to ensure patient safety and compliance.
  • Maintain Pharmacy Inventory: Utilize computer and hand counting techniques to maintain accurate pharmacy inventory levels.
  • Verify Patient Information: Verify patient identification and check for expiration dates to ensure all medications are in compliance with federal guidelines.
  • Dispense Medications: Dispense medications to patients and educate them on proper use.
  • Be On Time: Ensure punctuality for shifts to maintain a smooth workflow.
