Job Summary and Qualifications
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of essential patient care tasks.

In collaboration with Registered Nurses (RNs) and other healthcare team members, the LPN delivers individualized care that adheres to the standards of the specialty.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN.
  • Assist with medical procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct lab and procedural tests within the LPN scope of practice after demonstrating competency.
  • Document care provided in the patient medical record accurately and promptly.
  • Serve as a resource for department staff, students, and volunteers to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification required.
