Geotechnical Principal

Job Summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Principal to provide technical expertise and support to our Geotechnical staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and a proven track record of leading projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support to Geotechnical staff
• Host or attend project meetings with clients and ECS staff to provide technical solutions
• Mentor Associate Principals and participate in the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation
• Oversee projects, perform technical report reviews, and prepare and review proposals
• Assist with management of the department and P&L, and participate in business development and marketing efforts
• Lead and coach junior staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar
• 12 years of related experience
• Designation as a senior reviewer at a current or previous firm
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in each state where you work
