Join Our Team as a Neurologist Clinician-Educator

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced neurologist to join our team at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine. As a clinician-educator, you will play a vital role in supporting our inpatient and outpatient clinical practice in neurology within an academic setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will practice at UCR and/or UCR-affiliated clinical facilities in Riverside and surrounding areas. This includes UCR clinics, affiliated hospitals, and the UCR Multiple Sclerosis Program, which is designated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a comprehensive multiple sclerosis care center.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in neurology, including inpatient and outpatient services
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree and be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology is also required. A minimum of two years of practice post-residency training from an accredited residency training program is necessary.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $118,100 - $302,700 annually, based on a variety of considerations, including education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. As a part-time appointment, you will work up to 50% of full-time hours.

As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
