Job Overview

Position: Golf Merchandise Specialist

Work Mode: Hybrid

Opportunity

This role provides an enthusiastic individual the chance to engage with customers while working in a dynamic retail environment focused on golf and leisure apparel, accessories, and unique gift items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers with their purchasing decisions, providing insights into the products and services available.
  • Maintain store organization by ensuring merchandise is properly displayed, folded, or hung in an orderly fashion.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge through vendor presentations and team meetings.
  • Support store upkeep through cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Promote retail offerings and in-store promotions while informing customers about upcoming events.
  • Handle transactions accurately, including cash, credit card, and gift certificate sales, as well as processing discounts and end-of-day reports.
  • Assist with inventory management, including checking in shipments and reporting discrepancies.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare new merchandise for display and assist with tagging items.
  • Be knowledgeable about and promote local services and attractions.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned within the scope of the role.

We are seeking a part-time associate available to work throughout the golf season. Shifts will vary during weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in sales or customer service within a specialty retail environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Prior cash handling experience is advantageous.
